There are a million lies we can create to get out of a twist. We could run - be it physical, emotional, mental, psychological - every time we're in a dire or an unhappy situation. Sometimes it's okay to walk away. Other times, you stick to your guns and grit your teeth through the tears and you fight.
Wondering what makes you stick around or take flight boils down to that nanosecond when you heed your head or your heart. Whichever way you decide, you get to live through every decision. You just don't let go of life that easily, because life is meant for living and not retreating/running away.
